When the country went into shutdown this year because of the Covid pandemic, my team and I started a practice that has carried us through. It is a practice we do daily—sharing the things we are thankful for with each other in WhatsApp, and it has made a world of difference.
Whether you do this in a journal, use our gratitude list template below, or share this practice with friends across an electronic channel like text, WhatsApp, Slack, or Facebook Messenger, I promise that finding at least three things to be grateful for on a daily basis will help you face anything that the day throws at you.
You can download this gratitude template by clicking on the image below and printing out the PDF.
If you need a primer on gratefulness to get those thankful juices flowing… here you go!
Here is a beautiful list of ten gratitude quotes to inspire you to keep a grateful heart. You can print them out and post them where they can be a daily reminder or cut them out, fold them up, and place them in a gratitude jar. Add your own thoughts on gratitude to the jar, then whenever you are feeling down or challenged, just reach into the jar and pull out a slip of paper to read and refresh your soul.
